Brockville Pipes & Drums

(Brockville Legion Pipes & Drums )
(Brockville Police Pipes & Drums)

The Band wears the Royal Stewart tartan
which you see here in the background.
The pleating of the kilt is rather unusual
in that it is pleated to the blue stripe.
This is so unusual that we sometimes are asked:
“Why do you have two different tartans on your kilt?”

The beehive which you see in our crest is
a municipal symbol signifying
the industrious nature of
the City of Brockville.

The Brockville Pipes & Drums practices
at Branch 96 of the Royal Canadian Legion
Park Street, Brockville, Ontario
Wednesday evenings, 7-9 pm
(except June, July and August).

The Band is incorporated
– the legal name of the band is City of Brockville Pipe Band
and is a Canadian Registered Charity;
the Registration Number is 890882665RR0001.
This means if you make a donation to the Band we can provide you
with a donation receipt for income tax purposes.

If you are interested in joining our Band, or if you are interested in learning to play bagpipes, snare drum, tenor drum or bass drum, please contact the Band Manager, Stewart Nimmo, phone: 613-348-3948 or .
